Celem spotkania była ocena stanu wdrażania wspólnego projektu w sprawozdawczym okresie po obu stronach granicy. Omówiono między innymi działanie systemu PTT, w który wyposażony został Nadbużański Oddział Straży Granicznej.
System PTT Connect to rozwiązanie typu Push-to-Talk, wykorzystujące do realizacji połączeń smartfony, pracujące w oparciu o system operacyjny Android. PTT Connect wykorzystuje bezprzewodową transmisję danych. Nie wymaga budowy dedykowanej infrastruktury radiowej i praktycznie nie posiada ograniczeń geograficznych.
Użytkownik systemu może wykonywać połączenia grupowe, indywidualne oraz priorytetowe. Ponadto może wysyłać wiadomości tekstowe i multimedialne zarówno do członków grupy, jak i indywidualnie. Moduł zarządzania zadaniami pozwala na usprawnienie organizacji pracy w zespole. Wbudowany moduł mapowy pozwala śledzić pozycję wszystkich uczestników grupy. Dzięki wykorzystaniu działającego w trzech wymiarach czujnika ruchu, możliwe jest automatyczne wygenerowanie alarmu, który aktywuje się w momencie gdy użytkownik znalazł się w bezruchu przez określony czas. Jeśli określony użytkownik nie zareaguje na wygenerowany alarm, wówczas do pozostałych użytkowników zostanie wysłane wezwanie zawierające pozycję osoby poszkodowanej. Podczas spotkania także podniesiono kwestię audytów i raportów, do których zobligowane zostały strony podpisaną umową grantową.
Z uwagi na intensywność wdrażanych działań kolejne spotkanie zaplanowano w lutym 2020 r. na terenie służbowej odpowiedzialności białoruskich partnerów.
On 29-30.10.2019, the second meeting of the Steering Committee of Project No. PBU1/0062/16 "Joint initiatives of border guards on increasing the effectiveness of border checks and state border protection" implemented within the framework of the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020 took place in the Podlaski Border Guard Regional Unit. Representatives of the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus, officers of the Nadbuzanski Border Guard Regional Unit and the Podlaski Border Guard Regional Unit took part in the undertaking.
The aim of the meeting was to assess the state of implementation of the joint project in the reporting period on both sides of the border. Among other things, the operation of the PTT system equipped with the Nadbuzanski Border Guard Regional Unit was discussed. The PTT Connect system is a Push-to-Talk solution using smartphones operating on the basis of the Android operating system to make connections. PTT Connect uses wireless data transmission. It does not require the construction of a dedicated radio infrastructure and practically does not have geographical limitations. The system user can make group, individual and priority calls. In addition, it can send text and multimedia messages both to group members and individually. Task management module allows you to improve the organization of work in a team. A built-in map module allows you to track the position of all group members. By using a three-dimensional motion sensor, it is possible to automatically generate an alarm that is activated when the user is stationary for a specified period of time. If a particular user does not respond to the generated alarm, a call will be sent to the other users with the position of the injured person. During the meeting, the issue of audits and reports was also raised, to which the parties were obliged by a signed grant agreement.
Due to the intensity of implemented activities, the next meeting is planned for February 2020 in the area of official responsibility of the Belarusian partner.
